I’m not like the other runners on the team because I don’t like running. I never ran competitively in High School, College or the Police & Fire Games. I was always a team sport player because I think running is boring. I try to find reasons to make me run, like ‘The Relay’. What better reason to run than to run for a cause. I think it’s great that all of the runners, not just on our team, are running to help support and bring awareness to Organs R Us. On top of that, our team is also fortunate to be running for Ben, a heart transplant survivor.
