Alex started track in 8th grade (2001) at Rincon Valley Middle School, got bitten by the running bug for real at Maria Carrillo HS, and had a chance to race collegiately at UC Davis.
Some highlights: 2005 NBL 3,200m champ, 71:04 half-marathon PR, part of Team USA’s silver medal half-marathon team at 2009 Maccabiah Games, and Redwood Empire Record-holder in the Eggnog Miles (5:35.9).
