I have been running since high school but took some time off when I first got hired in law enforcement in 1995. In 2000 I trained for my first marathon and qualified for Boston which I ran in 2:57. Since then I have ran numerous marathons, along with half marathons, 10K’s and 5K’s. In addition, I have competed in sprint, Olympic, Half Iron Man, and Full Iron Man Triathlons. About 2 years ago I got into Ultra Running and have competed in numerous 50 mile and 100 mile endurance runs. In the near future I hope to run the Western States Endurance Run and the Badwater Ultra marathon, along I have also competed n the Western States Police and Fire Games, where I have earned over 46 medals. I am currently a Welfare Fraud Investigator with the Mendocino County Department of Social Services assigned to the Social Services Special Investigation Unit, prior to that I worked five years with the Mendocino County Probation Department and six years with the Clearlake Police Department.
